Privacy Policy

What people tell you is personal, so the app is built to keep it between you and your iPhone. The short version:

  • We don’t collect any data, and there’s no account to sign up for.
  • Nothing is sent to us or to any server we run. We don’t have one.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no in-app purchases.
  • Your notes only leave your iPhone if you choose a setting that sends them somewhere, and this page says exactly where.

What stays on your iPhone

  • The people you add and everything you note about them are kept in a database on your iPhone. Your settings are kept on your iPhone too.
  • Deleting the app deletes all of it. Apple’s own device backups may include it, like any app’s data.

How your notes get sorted

The app sorts each note into categories like Favorites and Gift Ideas. You choose how in Settings, under Intelligence:

  • On-device uses Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. Nothing leaves your phone.
  • Cloud uses Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. The text of a note is sent to Apple’s servers to be sorted. According to Apple, it isn’t stored there and isn’t accessible to Apple. Apple explains how this works in its Private Cloud Compute documentation.
  • Off sorts notes by matching words, on your iPhone.

If you turn on Sync to cloud

  • Sync to cloud is off until you turn it on. Then the app keeps a copy of your people and notes, as files, in your own iCloud Drive, your own Google Drive, or both. The files go straight from your iPhone to your account; we never see them.
  • You can keep notes marked Important out of the copy. They then stay on your iPhone only.
  • The copy is yours. If you share it with Claude or another AI tool, for example to help plan a gift, that tool’s privacy policy applies.
  • Turning sync off stops new copies. Files already in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive stay there until you delete them.

Google Drive

  • You sign in with Google. The app asks only for access to the files it creates, not anything else in your Drive, plus your email address so it can show which account is connected.
  • The sign-in is stored in your iPhone’s Keychain. You can sign out any time (Sync to cloud → Sign out of Google), or remove access from your Google Account.

Export

  • Export makes a one-time .zip of your notes and opens the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you.

Children

  • Because nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.

TestFlight

  • If you test the app through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares some information with developers, such as crash reports, basic install and session details, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. That happens under Apple’s privacy policy, not through anything in the app. We only use it to fix bugs.
