Privacy Policy

The short version: Tamadogchi doesn’t collect any data. None. Your dog lives on your Apple Watch, and the app never connects to the internet.

tl;dr

  • We don’t collect any data, and there’s no account to sign up for.
  • Nothing is sent to us or to any server we run.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no in-app purchases.
  • Apple may or may not collect your usage information, but we do not.

What stays on your watch

  • Your dog: its name, look, outfit, friendship, the gifts it has given you and the favorites you’ve found, and when you last played with it. That’s kept in a small database on your Apple Watch, shared only with Tamadogchi’s own watch-face complication so it can show your dog.
  • Deleting the app deletes the dog and everything it owns. Apple’s own device backups may include it, like any app’s data.

What it doesn’t touch

  • No Health data, no motion sensors, no location, no contacts. Fetch is a tap or Double Tap, not a sensor reading.
  • No notifications. The app never asks for permission to send them.
  • The iPhone app only exists because Apple ships watch apps inside one. It shows a pixel dog and tells you to open your watch. It doesn’t read, store or send anything.
  • Because nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.

TestFlight

  • If you test Tamadogchi through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares some information with developers, such as crash reports, basic install and session details, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. That happens under Apple’s privacy policy, not through anything in the app. We only use it to fix bugs.
